Overview
There are number of controls that you will need to be familiar with to host your own Zoom meeting. These include the following elements:
- controlling and configuring your audio and video device;
- configuring the security settings, such as locking the meeting, enabling waiting room, hiding profile pictures, and enabling the following features to the students:
- single or multiple screen sharing, including on iOS and Android operational systems,
- chat, including enabling/disabling and saving it,
- renaming themselves,
- unmuting themselves,
- starting a video, and
- sharing whiteboards;
- managing participants, such as inviting or kicking them out, enabling and disabling their audio and video devices, and so on;
- configuring the screen sharing settings;
- managing polls, breakout rooms, reactions, chat, transcriptions, and whiteboards; and
- installing and sharing the available applications within Zoom, for example, for collaborative task purposes.
