Overview

There are 3 main roles in a timetabled online Teams session.

  • Co-organiser (anyone named teacher on the timetabled session, please this role appears as ‘Organiser’ in the meeting)
  • Presenter (a role attendees can be promoted too in the meeting)
  • Attendee (Student)

A person may enter the lobby as an ‘external’ or ‘unverified’. Unverified means they are using the ‘join with browser option (they should be using join with desktop app) and external means they have a Teams account and are using it at another instituion or workplace.
