Transcripts are available to download from Panopto as well as the ability to turn off and on captions.
There are two different ways you can download the transcript depending on how you are accessing the recording:
Access the transcript from the Panopto Activity on your course DLE page
- Click on the recording you wish to watch
- Select the arrow at the bottom of the recording window.
- Select the three dots in the right hand side of the window and you will be given the option to ‘Download transcript’
- Select ‘Download transcript’. The transcript will be automatically downloaded onto your device.
Access the transcript from the Panopto block and within Panopto browser:
- Click on the recording you wish to watch
- Select Captions from the left hand menu
- Click on the arrow and the transcript will download.
