It can be used for brainstorming, planning<br>activities, problem solving and collecting student ideas during online teaching<br>sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note students must be using the Teams desktop app to be able to interact with presentations via the Mentimeter app (please make this sentence stand out)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating a new Whiteboard in the session<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/plymouth.cloud.panopto.eu\/Panopto\/Pages\/Viewer.aspx?id=859c7e33-dca5-4c2c-90e8-b4c500fbc3f1\">Watch the video on MS Whiteboards here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a co-organiser or presenter you can present or collaborate with a MS Whiteboard following the steps below. Please see the video for an on screen walkthrough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select Share from the meeting controls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose Microsoft Whiteboard from the sharing options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new whiteboard will open and be shared with all meeting participants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the whiteboard tools to add text, draw, insert sticky notes, shapes or images.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participants can contribute to the whiteboard in real time, allowing everyone to collaborate on the same canvas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use templates to support activities such as brainstorming, reflection exercises, project planning or group discussions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zoom in and out of the canvas to navigate larger whiteboards and view participant contributions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor student activity as ideas, comments and drawings appear instantly on the shared whiteboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The whiteboard is automatically saved, allowing you to revisit or continue working on it after the meeting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When you have finished, close the whiteboard or stop sharing to return to the normal meeting view.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participants can continue accessing the whiteboard after the meeting if they have appropriate permissions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparing a Whiteboard before the session<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Creating a Whiteboard activity in advance allows you to prepare collaborative tasks,<br>templates and resources before students join your Teams meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"position: relative; position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; box-sizing: border-box;\" allowfullscreen allow=\"autoplay\" aria-label=\"Panopto Embedded Video Player\" aria-description=\"Creating a whiteboard before a session\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating a Whiteboard in advance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the Staff Portal, open the App Launcher, and select Whiteboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This will open your Whiteboard gallery, where all your existing whiteboards are stored.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select New Whiteboard to create a new board.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose a template or create your own activity from scratch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the board name and rename it so that it is easy to identify when sharing it during a Teams meeting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build your activity by adding text, images, sticky notes, shapes or any other content students will need to interact with.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Duplicating or changing shared settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you need to duplicate an existing whiteboard or change sharing permissions, open your Whiteboards folder in OneDrive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the Whiteboards folder, locate the board you want to manage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the sharing options to adjust who can view or edit the whiteboard.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have used the whiteboard in a previous Teams session, you may wish to remove existing sharing permissions to prevent previous participants from continuing to edit the board.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once your whiteboard is prepared and permissions have been checked, it will be ready to share during your Teams meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Find out more &#8211;
