Tutors can create rooms automatically or manually, move between rooms, and bring everyone back to the main session when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Breakout rooms can be created and managed by anyone with the <strong>Organiser<\/strong> or <strong>Co-organiser<\/strong> role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/plymouth.cloud.panopto.eu\/Panopto\/Pages\/Viewer.aspx?id=3e230fd1-2ade-4cf5-b66b-b4c500e4cd3b\">Watch the video &#8216;Breakout Rooms here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating breakout rooms<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>During your meeting, select the rooms icon from the meeting controls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the number of breakout rooms you want to create.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose how participants will be assigned:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Automatically assigns participants to rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manually allows you to assign participants yourself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Create rooms.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important settings before opening breakout rooms<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Before opening the rooms, select the Settings (cog wheel) icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enable Participants can return to the main meeting. Students will receive a notification that they will be moved to their breakout room after a short countdown.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select a room name to view the participants assigned to that room.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To join a breakout room, select the three dots (\u22ef) next to the room and choose Join room.
