Meeting this baseline ensures all students have the information they need, providing a consistent experience for all modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8216;Module information&#8217; block<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8216;Module information&#8217; block provides the basic information about the module in a standardised format, and all the following elements must be populated to conform to the minimum module requirements. Luckily some of these are populated automatically from UNIT-e, but if found to be wrong, they must be changed in UNIT-e first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pre-populated sections are in italics below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Module name and code<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Credit weighting<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Module lead with contact details<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Schedule of Summative Assessment (exam, coursework, practice)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All teaching staff (will automatically populate when added to course) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Module aims and assessed learning outcomes <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schedule of Teaching activities <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Schedule of Summative Assessment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Core Moodle elements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As well as the &#8216;Module information&#8217; block, there are certain elements that must always be<br>available in a module course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Module &#8216;Announcements&#8217; forum<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Key teaching materials<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Links to core resources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some important teaching elements are stored outside of Moodle and are linked from or<br>embedded into Moodle<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Electronic reading lists \u2013 created in Leganto, and then linked to the course <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Link to students e-portfolio if used<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-theme-default-color has-text-color\">You must ensure that Copyright &amp; Intellectual Property Rights regulations are adhered to.
