This can cause Turnitin to see it as a match. The first thing to do in issues like this is to load up each student&#8217;s originality report to see if there is any obvious cause for a match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"yui_3_17_2_1_1655730028593_33\">If you are concerned that it might be more than a simple matching of references etc. you will see an option to request to see the original student document: If it is an external student, a request will be sent to that student&#8217;s institution.
