{"id":2354,"date":"2021-10-05T13:50:52","date_gmt":"2021-10-05T12:50:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=2354"},"modified":"2024-01-29T11:34:48","modified_gmt":"2024-01-29T10:34:48","slug":"importing-a-rubric-into-turnitin-feedback-studio","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/article\/importing-a-rubric-into-turnitin-feedback-studio\/","title":{"rendered":"Importing a Rubric to Turnitin Feedback Studio"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"overview\">Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/article\/what-is-turnitin-feedback-studio\/\">Turnitin Feedback Studio<\/a>&nbsp;can be used as part of your grading strategy within a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/article\/creating-an-online-submission-in-moodle\/\">submission point<\/a>&nbsp;in Moodle as feedback could be provided to students using Turnitin Rubrics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have not had a Turnitin Rubric yet, a new one can be created by taking the steps outlined in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/article\/creating-a-rubric-in-turnitin-feedback-studio\/\">following supporting material<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also possible to <a href=\"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/article\/how-to-export-a-rubric-from-turnitin-feedback-studio\/\">export an existing Rubric<\/a> to your device in case you would like to store it outside of Moodle or share it with colleagues by e-mail. Please note that exported rubric files cannot be opened on your device, they have to be uploaded\/imported back to a DLE page to access the content. Please also note, Turnitin only accepts the &#8216;RBC&#8217; file extension or Excel Spreadsheets as long as they follow the correct formatting &#8211; further details are shared below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This article outlines how to import a Rubric from your device to Turnitin Feedback Studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-export-a-rubric-from-turnitin-feedback-studio\">How to import a Rubric to Turnitin Feedback Studio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To import a Rubric to Turnitin Feedback Studio, please follow the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Please sign into your Moodle account and select the module where you would like to import a Turnitin Rubric. A confirmation green checkmark will appear next to your file once uploaded indicating that the import process was successful. You can also click on the &#8216;View&#8217; button to view the rubric&#8217;s content. In the example below, the standard rubric marking option has been selected, so we used 0. From here, the final step is to select your newly created\/uploaded rubric from the drop-down list as shown below.
