Please press \u2018Enter\u2019 or click anywhere outside of the text field to finish editing. You can also click the&nbsp;trash can&nbsp;icon (right side) to remove a criterion. To add extra rows of criteria, please click on the \u2018+\u2019&nbsp;icon appearing at the top of your criteria list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note, there is a character limit on the criterion name, therefore, we recommend keeping them short and clear. If the name exceeds the character limit, we recommend using the tags \u2018Criterion 1\u2019, \u2018Criterion 2\u2019, \u2018Criterion 3\u2019, etc, and adding the actual names of the criteria as descriptions under them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note, in our case the percentages have been added to the fields\u2019 names as a reminder about each criterion\u2019s score. When you mark the submissions, you will be able to use this information and enter the score for each criterion, for example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u2018Introduction\u2019 5% out 10%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2018Critical Analysis\u2019 20% out of 30%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2018Personal Reflection\u2019 50% out of 50%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2018Conclusion\u2019 5% out of 10%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In this case, the overall mark automatically calculated by Turnitin would be 80% out of 100%. The automatic calculations only happens if you enable scoring. This setting is available in the \u2018Turnitin settings\u2019 section. Your students will be able to access the template (empty form without percentages and comments added) before their submissions (as long as the submission point is visible to them) and once the marks are released, they will be able to access the filled-out form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mark the submissions using the grading form<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Once the students have submitted their files, you will be able to access the submissions as usual. You can either add your feedback comments and the values you wish to give for each criterion here or expand the form (crossed arrows) to open it on a new page to get a similar layout as you can see when you create\/edit it in the Rubric Manager.
