This will allow students to submit files up to 5GB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to enable video or audio submissions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To do this, follow the instructions for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/telmed.uk\/wordpress\/knowledge-base\/how-to-create-an-online-submission-in-moodle\/\">creating an online submission<\/a>, but in addition tick the \u2018Video Assignment\u2019 box in the \u2018Submission types\u2019 section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If students only need to submit the media file and no other supporting files, you can untick the \u2018File submissions\u2019 box but please ensure students are aware of this. This might be needed if PowerPoint presentations or other heavy files need to be submitted. When you select the file types, please do not tick the section but specific file types under it after you expanded it. If the video is still not playable by the next morning, students are advised to contact IT Support.<br><br>As this delay may cause confusion, we strongly recommend including this information in the assessment instructions to help prevent unnecessary concern.<br><br>If a student submits their video shortly before the deadline and it has not yet finished processing, this will not affect their submission time. The DLE records the timestamp of when the file is uploaded, not when the video becomes playable. Therefore, students should not attempt to re-submit their work after the deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When students are about to submit their video (and supporting files if permitted), they can follow the instructions outlined on this <a href=\"https:\/\/dle.plymouth.ac.uk\/course\/section.php?id=418142\">help page<\/a>.
