The software interface and processes remain the same despite this change.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why would a LIVE Form need to be edited?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On occasion errors can be missed during the development or review stages of form development and are only recognised once the form has been published and submissions have already been made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to edit a LIVE Form<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select the form you wish to edit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the \u2018Status\u2019 tab if not already on it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the red \u2018Un-publish\u2019 button. <strong><em>Whilst the form is un-published, students will not be able to see the form.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the \u2018Fields&#8217; tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the blue \u2018Edit Fields\u2019 button. <strong><em>See the section below re. notification text if you want further clarification on this.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make changes to the form as required (e.g. update a field title) and select &#8216;Save&#8217;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the &#8216;Status&#8217; tab, then the &#8216;Update Status&#8217; button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the popup set the &#8216;Published&#8217; status and add a brief note explaining the changes made in the &#8216;Comments&#8217; field.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A note R.E. the notification text<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After selecting the &#8216;Edit Fields&#8217; button (step 5 above), you may see two yellow bars containing notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;This form is currently <strong>approved<\/strong>, if you click save it will be <strong>un-approved<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This notification is informing you that the form has an approved status and will be set to un-approved once changes have been made to the form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;As submissions exist for this form, only field properties and ordering can be changed.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This notification is informing you that as submissions exist on this form, you can only make changes to existing field properties and ordering.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On occasion errors can be missed during the development or review stages of form development and are only recognised once the form has been published and submissions have already been made.<\/p>\n<p>This article will show you how to edit a form that is already live.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"ht-kb-category":[66],"ht-kb-tag":[123],"class_list":["post-2090","ht_kb","type-ht_kb","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","ht_kb_category-sparkforms","ht_kb_tag-edit"],"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ht-kb\/2090","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ht-kb"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/ht_kb"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=2090"}],"version-history":[{"count":4,"href":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ht-kb\/2090\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":6924,"href":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ht-kb\/2090\/revisions\/6924"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2090"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"ht_kb_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ht-kb-category?post=2090"},{"taxonomy":"ht_kb_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ht-kb-tag?post=2090"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
