{"id":1500,"date":"2020-11-17T17:48:11","date_gmt":"2020-11-17T16:48:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=1500"},"modified":"2020-11-17T17:48:12","modified_gmt":"2020-11-17T16:48:12","slug":"modifying-permissions-for-anonymous-submissions","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/digi-ed.uk\/support\/article\/modifying-permissions-for-anonymous-submissions\/","title":{"rendered":"Modifying permissions (in PebblePad) so that submissions are anonymous"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When setting up a workspace in PebblePad ATLAS, the permissions for assessors can be updated so that submissions are anonymous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applying the following settings will anonymize the name of the author for the assessment submission via the submissions tab in ATLAS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Updating these permissions will apply to all assignments for all assets submitted within the workspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Setting the permissions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go to the ATLAS workspace you would like to anonymize the submissions for.<\/li><li>Select\u00a0<strong>Management<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select\u00a0<strong>Managers<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select\u00a0<strong>Modify permissions<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Scroll down to the section titled\u00a0Anonymity\u00a0then uncheck the boxes for &#8216;View author details&#8217;. Careful consideration should be made if creating a resource template that will be submitted to a workspace that&#8217;s meant to be anonymous &#8211; it&#8217;s recommended to make it clear within the template that to maintain anonymity, the user should avoid adding their name in any of the text fields.
