Wherever possible, we suggest sharing them prior to the lecture for pre-watching, using resources, such as Youtube, Vimeo, BoB, Panopto and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if you are going to share any video during your Zoom meeting, it is important that you choose the settings to support it. This can be done in two ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>When you share your window, remember to click the checkbox: \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/202954249-Optimizing-a-shared-video-clip-in-full-screen\">Optimize Screen Sharing for Video Clip<\/a>\u2019 and, if appropriate, \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/201362643-Sharing-computer-sound-in-a-screen-share\">Share computer sound<\/a>\u2019.<\/li><li>If you have already shared your screen, click in the \u2018Share\u2019 window ribbon, select \u2018More\u2019 and then \u2018Optimize Screen Sharing for Video Clip\u2019 and if appropriate, \u2018Share computer sound\u2019.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information about the process, please read the following <a href=\"https:\/\/support.zoom.us\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360051673592-Sharing-a-recorded-video-with-sound-during-your-meeting\">Zoom help material<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the video quality would be a problem, then we recommend giving your students a URL link to the video resource, and have them watch it outside of Zoom and then return to the meeting, once they have completed watching it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please also do not forget copyright. In many cases, it is still illegal to show or stream video material without permission.
