This article is only relevant if you are expecting students to submit work in groups. The groups and grouping will need to be set up BEFORE <\/strong>the assignment opens.

Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Assignments in Moodle can be set up to allow groups of students to work collaboratively on a single assignment. A Grader can give all the group members the same grade and feedback or choose to give individual grades and feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to add a Group submission to your Moodle assignment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Once you have set up your groups<\/a> and created your assignment <\/a>in the DLE as per instructions, you will then need to navigate to the following settings to link your groups\/groupings to your assignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Sign in to your Moodle account and select the course where your assignment activity is located.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on the \u2018Edit mode\u2019 toggle switch (top-right corner) and then select a section where you would like to place it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click on the three-dot button next to the submission point and then select \u2018Edit settings\u2019 from the drop-down list.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
