Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Scales are a way of evaluating or rating a students\u2019 performance. Scales may be used in\u00a0Forums,\u00a0Glossaries\u00a0and\u00a0Assignments\u00a0for rating and\/or\u00a0grading\u00a0a student\u2019s activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to create a scale on your DLE course<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Please note, you will not need to create a scale for \u2018Pass\u2019\/\u2019Fail\u2019 as this is by default added to all courses in the DLE\/Moodle. If you wisht to use different labels or scales, you can then follow the steps below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Please sign in to your DLE\/Moodle account and select the course where you would like to add a scale.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. On the course page, please select \u2018Grades\u2019 from the secondary navigation bar.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Once you land on the page, please click on the drop-down list at the top-left corner and select \u2018Scales\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
